This sounds so beautiful. I also have aphantasia so struggle with anything vision related. I can’t imagine being able to see images when I close my eyes - it must be magical ✨
I never even knew it was something I didn't have until I heard it described and took a quick test online. My kids describe it as though they have a movie playing in their head. I suppose I have a bunch of extra words that maybe take the place of picture thoughts!
Yes I was the same! I remember when I realised I had it after reading an article - it’s one of those things isn’t it, that you just assume everyone experiences the same. Just goes to show that all our realities are different. I couldn’t believe it when friends said they can actually ‘see’ objects in their minds eye. I have words too, which describe the object but I would love to know what the ‘seeing’ feels like ✨
